2015

Life is too short. We can easily find ourselves lost in routine and mundane schedules; letting so much pass us by. It’s important that every year we remind ourselves that “the world is our playground.” There is so much for us to do and so much for us to discover about ourselves.

For my 23rd year of life I have decided to make a list of 23 things I hope to accomplish in hopes of discovering more about myself. I want to push my limits, expand my horizons and learn.

I hope this list inspires people to also make a list of things they wish to accomplish in 2015 for self-growth and simply pure enjoyment. 

  1. Get a tattoo
  2. Go on a cruise
  3. Read 10 books
  4. Go rock climbing
  5. Go to a Broadway show
  6. Go on a road trip
  7. Finish my study abroad scrapbook
  8. Go paint-balling
  9. Visit the Statue of Liberty
  10. Visit the Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Center  
  11. Take swimming lessons
  12. Go to a shooting range
  13. Go horseback riding
  14. Go on a Bus Tour of NYC and Philadelphia
  15. Go on a hike
  16. Run a 5k
  17. Cook an entire French meal (Appetizer, Entrée, Dessert)
  18. Go wine and cheese tasting
  19. Take a Tango or Flamenco class
  20. Take Yoga and Kickboxing
  21. Be and extra on a show or movie
  22. Take a Mediabistro course
  23. Play Travel Roulette

These are a few things I also hope to accomplish throughout the year:

  1. Go to Cancun
  2. Go to Canada (Niagara Falls)
  3. Take my GRE’s
  4. Apply to Graduate School
  5. Go skiing or snowboarding
