It’s a brand new year! Yet, I have unfinished business.

Last year I made a list of 23 activities I wanted to do as a way to find myself again. I wanted to learn to love the person that I am and discover who exactly that person is. It was quite a journey and I learned a lot. After 365 days I completed about half of my list (some bullets had two activities in one.) Though I didn’t complete my list in 2015, I do hope to accomplish it in 2016. What remains is:IMG_7681

  1. Go on a cruise
  2. Read 5 books (I read 5 in 2015) 
  3. Go on a road trip
  4. Finish my Study Abroad scrapbook
  5. Visit the Statue of Liberty
  6. Take swimming lessons
  7. Go to a shooting range
  8. Go horseback riding
  9. Go on a tour of Philadelphia (in 2015 I did NY) 
  10. Cook an entire French meal (Appetizer, Entrée, Dessert)
  11. Take a Tango/Flamenco class
  12. Continue Yoga/take kickboxing
  13. Be an extra on a show or movie
  14. Take a Mediabistro course

2016…The year of accomplishments!

This year I am more than determined to make a drastic change in my life and start accomplishing goals I have set for myself. These goals came about from my self-discovery in 2015. The goals are as follows:

  • Attend Graduate School 
  • Buy a new car 
  • Get a new job
  • Plan a trip to California
  • Focus on my fitness

Just because it’s a new year does not mean you can leave behind what you started the previous year. However, it is okay to start something new and make those changes you wish to see in your life. Don’t be scared to accomplish what one day seemed impossible!
